Creating crappy content - it's more important than you think.

How creating "bad" content will help you go viral.

When I offered free feedback 2 weeks ago, a lot of people emailed me asking “how can I improve my channel?!” For some, I gave some really specific feedback. For many others...

I simply told them to make more crappy content.

Here’s what I mean…When you’re first starting out… your first video is going to suck. As a matter of fact, your first dozen videos are going to be just absolute cat poo-poo.

And not the good kind that people make coffee out of.

It doesn’t matter how much you prepare. In fact, over-preparation will probably make it suck even more because you’ll be so in your head about it. Sometimes you’ll even prepare so much that you get analysis paralysis and then end up not even making the video!

Again, your first video will suck. Additionally, your next 10, 20, or even 30 videos might suck as well...

especially if you’ve never used production equipment or editing software before. And guess what? Putting out crappy videos is a good thing.

As you create your terrible videos, you’re learning all the nuances of the production process and you’re slowly internalizing everything you learned in Viral Academy.

You need to get all the shitty videos out of your system and learn from them so you can eventually create good content.

No matter how much you learn and how much you prepare, your first few videos are likely going to be absolute stinky dog sh*t.

The sooner you accept that the faster you’ll be able to learn. So go out there and start making some crappy videos!

Best,
Kong
