Should you post videos on X (Twitter)?

Elon is trying to make it the next YouTube - here's why you should care.

Mr.Beast recently posted his first video on X and made over $250,000.

So… should you jump on the X train as well?

Yes, absolutely.

Why you should post videos on X

Reason #1 - The company has announced that it is officially a “video-first platform.”

Videos are now the VIPs and X is about to roll out the red carpet for them. I expect the algorithm will start pushing videos HARD in the coming months.

We’ve seen this happen in the past with Facebook and Instagram in the past… and the early birds didn’t just get worms, they hit the jackpot - Facebook was handing out free money like candy on Halloween.

I expect a similar trend to happen with X.

Reason #2 - Mr.Beast has since started posting weekly videos on X.

Many creators have made millions of dollars by following one rule: do what Mr.Beast does.

This man is at the forefront of viral content and I think it’s safe to say that if he does something over and over multiple times… it’s a good sign that you should jump on that bandwagon too.

**Note: he is re-posting old videos on X. His new videos still go exclusively on YouTube.

Reason #3 - Bet on Elon.

Ok, I understand the guy has said/done some… “questionable” things in the past few years (to say the least) but hear me out.

Here’s Elon’s resume:

  • Sold his company Zip2 for $307 million

  • Sold Paypal for $1.5 billion

  • SpaceX: currently valued at $175 billion

  • Tesla: currently valued at $607 billion

Love him or hate him, the numbers don’t lie… this man is a f***ing business savant.

I remember when I invested a sizeable chunk of my portfolio into Tesla in 2016. For about 3 years, I looked like an idiot. All the news articles were saying that Tesla would fail:

Today, my investment in Tesla has grown 13x.

Now here’s an example of a headline about X:

Hmm… sounds familiar!

Reason #4 - It can only help.

Assuming you take the Mr.Beast route and post your videos 2-4 weeks AFTER you publish it on YouTube, then it can only help.

Maybe you start going super viral on X and build an initial following there.

The editing you have to do is pretty minimal and uploading takes virtually no time at all.

Another strategy is to just treat X like TikTok and post short 30 to 60-second clips from your main video.

In that case, it’s just marketing for your YT channel.

The editing here is also minimal because you’re simply using what you would have posted on TikTok anyway.

So, what's the bottom line?

Post on X. You can either re-post your long-form content a couple of weeks later or post short clips as a teaser of your main content.

Why?

Cause’ Stone Cold said so.

May the algorithm gods be ever in your favor.
